Zhangjiajie (张家界) National Park, also called Wulingyuan (武陵源), is located in Hunan province. Zhangjiajie is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Zhangjiajie is famous for more than 3,000 tall quartzite sandstone pillars, some of them are more than 200 meters.
Huangshizhai (黄石寨), or yellow-stone-village, is the most famous scenic area of Zhangjiajie National Park, because it was developed earlier than other areas. However, it's not the best. The best areas are Tianzishan (天子山) and Yuanjiajie/Yangjiajie (袁家界/杨家界).
