Wulingyuan (Zhangjiajie) (武陵源(张家界)) in Hunan is UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. Wulingyuan (Zhangjiajie) National Park is the second batch National Park of China.
Zhangjiajie (张家界) National Park, also called Wulingyuan (武陵源), is located in Hunan province. Zhangjiajie is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Zhangjiajie is famous for more than 3,000 tall quartzite sandstone pillars, some of them are more than 200 meters.
Huangshizhai (黄石寨), or yellow-stone-village, is the most famous scenic area of Zhangjiajie National Park, because it was developed earlier than other areas. However, it's not the best. The best areas are Tianzishan (天子山) and Yuanjiajie/Yangjiajie (袁家界/杨家界).
